IV. Frequently asked questions
01.I don't have a CarPlay unit — can you supply one?+
No, for BYOD you bring your own unit. For full equipment (aftermarket screen or graft), we provide a quote based on photos.
02.My vehicle doesn't have CarPlay built in — is it possible?+
Yes. Most 2014+ vehicles are compatible with a graft or add-on unit. Send us your photos and we'll assess it.
03.Will the factory backup camera be kept?+
Yes, in most cases. We feed the signal into the CarPlay / Android Auto system.
04.Does this void the manufacturer warranty?+
No. The integration is non-destructive. No factory parts are cut or modified.
05.Is wireless CarPlay supported?+
It depends on the unit. Some BYOD units are wired, others wireless. Let us know when booking.
